How many times have you joined International Weeks? Some of you may join this program as a first time.
Some of you may have experienced other IWs. But, Ifm sure that this program will make your world more expanded and widen. You will experience Japanese culture and lifestyle through both the program during the day and after going home. Looking forward to seeing you in Japan!!

Welcome to Japan!!!@ Our program offers you valuable opportunities to exchange views and experiences, making friends, getting to know new culture and introducing yourselves.
During two weeks, there are many chances for you to explore Japanese culture in different ways.
Japanese traditional culture and European modern culture melt into each other and form an entirely different new culture.
Probably youfll be shocked to see the bright side and the dark side of it!!
Enjoy the program and have a good time together with uuuuus!!!!



Programs

Welcome Ceremony Feb 10th(Sun)

Chief: Erika Nemoto

We can know each other at this ceremony. Letfs enjoy yourself with your smile!! We are looking forward to meeting you!!

(ceremony 11:00~16:45)
dress code;formal clothes
After the ceremony,we have a drinking party as an optional program.(18:00~20:00 at Shibuya \2,500)

Sightseeing Day Feb 11th (Mon)

Chief: Sachiko Nakajima

We're planing to experience of KEN-DOU which is a traditional Japanese sport.
Also you can see Japanese culture and history at the Edo Tokyo Museum.
Asakusa is really valuable place to see Japanese temple and you can find old Japanese style lives.
We'll show you traditional aspects in this Sight-Seeing day.

(because we're going to move around and walk a lot!)

Cooking Day Feb 12th (Tue)

Chief: Yukako Nishina

On this day, we can eat so many international dishes. Cooking with your friends must be fun!

If you need special ingredients which you canft buy in Japan, please bring them from your country.

Short Trip Feb 13th (Wed)- 15(Fri)

Chief: Lu tianran

We'll visit Nikko where we can actually feel the traditional Japanese life.
We are going to provide you with spcial experiences in this short trip.
For example,making traditional noodles called SOBA and MOCHI, looking temples, and doing sports at night... Let's make enjoyable and unforgettable memories with us!

Academic Day Feb 18th (Mon)

Chief: Tomohide Kawakami

We will have a discussion on "What is the ideal education to train people who can compete in this age of the global community".
After the discussion,we will visit an Earthquake museum.
You can learn how to deal with earthquakes there.

We will also go to Karaoke after the main program as an optional program.(\1200 for 3 hours) Letfs have fun!!

Original 1 Feb 19th(Tue)

Chief: Hiroyuki Yokokawa

This day, we will visit the town called hAkihabarah.
This town is full of Japanese subcultures like gJapanimationsh or gMaid Cafeh .
You can also enjoy electronic stuffs or even see the weapons. Akihabara is full of attractiveness and originalities.
Please enjoy this whole atmosphere!!

gathering;optional program¨10:00 at Ueno or Akihabara Station (You canft do shopping in the main program. So if you need,please bring money to buy the electronic stuffs or PC instruments and do your personal shopping during the optional program.)

Original 2 Feb 20th (Wed)

Chief: Yumi Sasaki

Letfs enjoy watching Kabuki and playing the Japanese drums . I hope you will feel Japanese traditional entertainment. Letfs have fun together ! gathering;10:30 at Higashi Ginza Station Exit 3 (Hibiya line) dismissal;16:00 at Sakurashinmachi Station (Tokyu line)

After the main program, we will watch Judo, and go to LaQua .
There are many fantastic amusement facilities in LaQua.
For example,hot spring, roller coaster, Ferris wheel, etcc


Company Visiting Feb 21st (Thur)

We are going to visit the world famous TOYOTA !!
An opportunity like this rarely occur!!
I hope all of you will enjoy the Company Visiting Day!!

Original 3 Feb 22nd (Fri)

You can see the Japanese modern culture and fashion.
For example, we will go to a big mall, an amusement grounds and take a boat!!

Please bring money for shopping,playing and eating

After the main program,wefll go to a club in Shibuya as an optional program.(\3,200)

But on this day, staying all night is permitted!!

Farewell Ceremony Feb 24th (Sun)

Chief: Eriko Kon

Farewell Ceremony is the last day of the spring program.
We will watch a video and will have speeches from you(please prepare) and your host family about the memories of two weeks.
Let's spend the last wonderful time in Japan with us!
