What's IIR?

IIR (Institute of International Relations) was founded in 1956 as a public welfare organization of Keio University. IIR now has partnerships with more than 20 student organizations all over the world, for the purpose of achieving mutual understanding and making a firm friendship with "you". Our main activities are;

- To hold a two-week program twice a year with the aim of introducing Japan from many aspects. The program includes sightseeing, company visits, experiencing Japanese tradition, international cooking, short trips, parties and lots more!

- To send Keio students to International Week(IW)s held abroad to offer them opportunities to experience different cultures. This activity is the backbone of IIR as a public welfare organization of Keio University.

- To keep contact with affiliated student organizations overseas via e-mail. In addition, IIR is always ready to build new partnerships, and to accomplish this, we are never negligent in writing to "you".

- To plan events concerning with international exchange or just for fun.

IIR will be glad to take contact with all of "you".
