Welcome Party Feb 12th(Sun)

Chief: Kazumi Todate

It's the beginning of Spring Program 2006! I want to express a hearty welcome to you. I hope it'll be a good chance to get know each other, and make your experience on IIR enjoyable! Have fun :-).

Tradition Day Feb 13th (Mon)

Chief: Yusuke Inoue

On this day, we are going to do syuji in the morning. Syuji is the Japanese traditional Calligraphy. And afternoon, we will go to Asakus and Ueno. Asakusa and Ueno are traditional city in Japan. They are the Tokyo's world famous downtown. You can buy a many interesting goods there. Letfs Have Fun!!!

Sightseeing and St.Valentine Day Feb 14th (Tue)

Chief: Eri Negoro

Wefre going to go sightseeing in Kamakura, which is an ancient city. First, we will experience zazen. Itfs meditation in Zen Buddhism. Later, we will visit some temples and see a huge statue on Buddha. In the evening, we are going to have imitational dates in Minatomirai. Itfs St. Valentinefs Day! Letfs enjoy this day!!

Economics Day Feb 15th (Wed)

Chief: Syunsuke Taura

In the Economics Day, you may see "a future". In the morning, we will visit a SONY office and be showed new SONY products. The SONY staffs/staves will explain something new to us. After that, in the afternoon, we will attend an exciting presentation given by Masayoshi Shirai, PhD. Have a nice day!

Short Trip Feb 16th (Thur)- 17th (Fri)

Chief: Syunya Furukawa

In a short trip, we'll go to Hakone which is a famous tourist resort in Japan. In sight seeing, we're going to watch a Japanese castle, a vapor eruption, and Mt.Fuji! I'm sure you can enjoy Japanese beauties!

Politics Day Feb 20th (Mon)

Chief: Haruka Yanagawa

The aims of Politics Day are: to see the stage of Japanese politics and to talk about the international problem with people all around the world! In the morning, we visit the Diet Building and, after lunch, we hear a lecture about the problem of Iraq ( we have a special guest speaker!) and discuss about it. Let's see the fact through your own eyes and exchange our opinions!

Cooking Day Feb 21th(Tue)

Chief: Kaoru Kaisyakuji

In the morning we will cook and eat,then make rice cake. We can eat many country's food.It's very wonderful,isn't it? We assure you Cooking Day will be very enjoyable.

Sake Day Feb 22th (Wed)

Chief: Kei Koshida

This day is "Sake-Day"!! Sake is Japanese traditional liquor. In this day we will go to the sake brewer and we can see the warehouse and Japanese traditional scene. Please enjoy taste, smell of Sake and appreciate atmosphere of the brewer!!

Japanese Culture Day Feb 23th (Thur)

Chief: Takahiro Ide

In This DAY,we will take you to the current City in Tokyo! In the morning we wander about the boom city Shiodome. In the afternonn,we'll go Pop-culture town whitch you like(choose among three). At last we assemble at the famous building Roppongi-hils. And Letfs take a pidture all together! As a lunch, wefll eat the gMONJAh Although I think everyone donft know that, but please look forward to eat till that DAY!

Cross Culture Day Feb 24nd (Fri)

Chief: Nozomi Oka

This day is very different style from other days in the program. You,the exchange students, are going to show us YOUR culture. Please introduce your country's culture like traditional dance, music, cloths, play and so on. And this day, it'll be at our university, Keio Hiyoshi campus. So you can see our university's buildings and have lunch where we usually go. Let's enjoy crossing the culture!

Farewell Party Feb 26th (Sun)

Chief: Mitsuno Sugahara

This is the last day of this program. In the first half,ES and the members of IIR participate in this party.They enjoy quiz game with video of this program ,and exchange their present. In the second half, ES,the members of IIR and HF are participants.

nothing special. but on this day, we will go around anywhere as you want (in Tokyo), so if you check it up before, you'll be more interesting!!
