Welcome Party Jul
30th(Sun)
Chief: Yohei Nakagawa
The welcome party consists of two parts. First part is an orientation and
second part is the party. Girls will be able to wear YUKATA, a traditional
clothes of Japan. We will show you TATE(Japanese sword fight!) Let's enjoy

Traditional Japan
Jul 31st (Mon)
Chief: Masato Yoshimoto
First ,we will go to gNational Olympic Center h in Tokyo.
There we will get plain gSENSUh and decorate them in some ways for example, gSHUJIh, gCHIGIRIEh which are Japanese traditional ways, and so on.
I think you can make friends with many IIR members through decorating gSENSUh.
After that, we will eat lunch and have some break time.
Then, we will visit gMEIJI-JINGUh. Itfs a Japanese traditional shrine.
There we will learn how to pray at shrine and walk around there.
You also can take pictures of beautiful scenes and feel so relieved surrounded by many greens.

World Expo

Welcome to Summer Program 2006 of IIR!!
I'd like to introduce you about the 3rd day's program,World Expo.
On this day,each exchange students and us cook ethnic dishes.Of course you
can try Japanese foods,too!
In the afternoon, we eat them and play some interesting games!!
We hope you can enjoy the day of World Expo!!

Company Visiting
Aug 7th (Mon)
Chief: Yasunari Hotta
Hi,My name is Hotta,the chief of Company Visiting Day.
This year, We can visit two companies.First one is [JAL]. This company is
the most biggest airline company. There,we observe a hangar of
airplanes,and
next we visit a training scool of cabin attendants.
After lunch(we eat a packed lunch),we visit next company,[Kao],which is
Japanese general company making some products related with makeup or toilet
articles.
I regard these two companies as attractive and promising companies.I'm
also
looking forward to visititing tese one.
I just hope u enjy this day!!

Countryside of Japan
Aug 8th(Tue)
Chief: Mayuko Sonoda
we will go to the west side of Tokyo prefecture.
There you can see Japanese countryside scenary and
experience the old-fashioned leatures as the time we
didn't have game senter, amusument park.
We will go the riverbed of Aki river and play some
traditonal Japanese game using watermelons, do fishing and
boating.
You can take a rest feeling the river breeze and talk with
your friends at the riverbed, or take a walk around there
seeing many greens, flowers.

This day is America's atomic bombing of Nagasaki. We will discuss about
nuclear. And furthermore, we are going to the bomb shelter. Let's slip
back in time to 60years ago!!!

Beach
Aug 10th (Thur)
Chief: Syota Iijima
We are going to go to the beach in Zushi. Zushi is famous as the place where the busiest chairperson in the world lives.
The coast is very wide, and beautiful. And we are planning BBQ in the beach.We hope you will enjoy the beach day.

New Japan
Aug 11st (Fri)
Chief: Kazuya Yokohama
Hi, guys! New-Japan day is the last day of the program, so we hope you all
can make wonderful memories in this day! In New-Japan day, we're gonna have
imitation-date with us IIR members, @ one of the most popular date-spot
among young people, ODAIBA. I'm sure that some kind of sweet feeling (you
know what) must be arised. Have fun!

Farewell Party

Farewell Party is the final event of the Summer program. In this program, you will make many reminiscences,
and we have planned the ceremony to retrace 2 weeks. Itfs the last time to meet every participants of program, so I hope it will be impressive day!

Farewell party
Please come in formal clothes. This is the last day of our program, so
enjoy yourselves until the end. Let's make a wonderful last memory!
